Quilted Postcards

There are three things that I absolutely cannot stand to see go to waste:  vinyl, fabric, and guacamole.  And this… is the perfect project to use up all those scraps you have saved!

When I went back to New York with Ben last summer, his mother introduced me to a really neat project- Quilted postcards.  On the front side of the postcard, you just make a little design and quilt the pieces together, then place some batting behind it, and sew it to some white cardstock for the backing.  As long as you make it the standard postcard size (6 x 41/4) and put a stamp in corner, it will send through the USPS.
