I can hear the bells….

So after a few weeks hiatus I am back on the wedding planning train.  I know the next couple months are going to whizz by, so I wanted to start getting some of the small things completed.  Today after going on a gorgeous hike at the White Tank Mountains with my friend Kera, I came home and busted out these adorable fans.

One of our good friends sisters was recently married and she showed me some of the cute things she did for her wedding… one of which was these “program fans”.  I don’t know how much she paid, but they were done professionally and the minute I saw them, I knew I could recreate them for much cheaper.
First I headed to Home Depot and picked up a large amount of FREE paint sticks… Thanks Home Depot!  Next, I batted my eyes and asked very nicely for my amazing fiance to saw them in half… he’s kind of a suckerfish 🙂  I designed a cute little monogram and typed up some info about the wedding and copied it at school… Thanks Vistancia!  Last I folded the papers over the sticks and hot glued them together, tied some corresponding tulle around the bottom and that was that!

Sticks- FREE

Cardstock/ copies- FREE

Spray paint- $6.00

Tulle- $5.00

Grand total….  $11.00 for 200 fans.  SCORE!
