I <3 Salvation Army

I am having a difficult time finding the right words to describe the satisfaction I had from Salvation Army this weekend.  Ashley and I spent about 2 hours walking up and down the aisle with 2 carts, packed to the top, in awe of all the wonderful treasures.  The best part about our trip, was despite the fact that we left with half the store… we each spent no more than $30.00.  I am so excited to show you all the cool stuff I got, but they are all… how do you say… “fixer uppers”, so I will post them as I go.   The first one I would like to share is one that I completed today during the Cardinals football game.  Ben and I went over to my parents house to watch the Cardinals playoff game, which was fun… but I can only take so much football…. so I brought a big bag of craft projects to work on!  These little beauties were one of my best Salvation Army finds this weekend…they were $6.00 for all three.  Kind of plain, but I saw the potential in them.

A little spray paint and corresponding candles, and viola!  The new summer centerpiece for my patio table.

Stay tuned for more of my S.A. finds!!
